Start with the activity, climate, and size range—not a generic “polyester uniform.” Choose a shirt route first, add separate team shorts only when the program needs them, and approve the exact crest, color, and placement before production.

A school does not need final artwork to start. It does need one organizer and a consistent description of the program.
Use the mixed-size guide →KEEP THE SYSTEM EASY TO REORDER
The clearest default for the school mark. Keep it compact enough to work across youth and adult shirts.
Use the school name, PE department, grade, or house. Keep sponsor-style clutter out of a daily uniform.
Add a name or number only when the school has one approved spreadsheet and one consistent position.
Shorts share the crest and color system, but their placement is adapted to the leg panel instead of copying the shirt layout.
ONE ORGANIZER · FOUR CHECKPOINTS
Send the program type and rough headcount first. The first design direction can move while the school finishes the exact size roster.

The practical starting points are quick-dry performance shirts, classic tees for lower-intensity use, and separate team shorts. Shirts and shorts are specified and quoted as individual garments; schools can include both in one coordinated order when the artwork and color system are compatible.
The coordinated order minimum is 50 pieces. Tell us whether the count is shirts only or a mix of compatible PE garments; the written quote confirms any garment-specific minimum before approval.
Yes when compatible garments are available. Youth, standard adult, and extended sizes can share one roster, while any fabric, color, fit, or blank-price difference is shown in the written quote.
Performance polyester is the stronger starting point for heat, sweat, repeated activity, and faster drying. Cotton or a cotton blend can work for indoor classes or lower-intensity programs where a familiar everyday feel matters more.
A compact left-chest crest is the clearest default. The back can carry the school name, PE department, grade, or house; optional names or numbers should use one controlled roster and one consistent position.
They can share the same crest, colors, and number system, but placement is adapted to each garment. A large shirt graphic should not simply be shrunk onto the leg of a pair of shorts.
Start about 6–7 weeks before distribution. The normal planning range is 15–20 business days after the final mockup, garment specification, size roster, delivery scope, and deposit are approved; the extra time protects school review and sorting.
