Light polyester opens the widest sublimation route. Dark polyester can support strong DTF or controlled screen printing, but contrast and dye migration must be checked on the exact fabric.

Before you approve the fabric
Performance is a system: fiber, knit, finish, fit, artwork, print process, and working conditions.
What makes a shirt moisture-wicking?
A performance knit moves liquid across more surface area so it can evaporate faster. Fiber, yarn, knit structure, finish, fit, and airflow all matter; “100% polyester” by itself does not prove that two shirts will perform the same.
Is performance polyester better than cotton?
For running, training, heat, and repeated outdoor wear, polyester is usually the stronger starting point because it absorbs less moisture and dries faster. Cotton feels more natural for casual keepsake wear, while a blend can be a practical middle ground.
Should we use sublimation or DTF on performance shirts?
Sublimation is ideal for white or light high-polyester garments, especially for all-over or highly breathable graphics. DTF can place detailed full-color artwork on many light or dark performance fabrics, but the exact garment should be tested for heat sensitivity and dye migration.
Can every shirt have a different name and number?
Yes. Send a roster with name, number, size, and quantity. We format each piece, return a proof for approval, and verify the roster again during quality control.
Can youth, adult, and women’s fits be mixed?
Yes when compatible garments are available. Because size ranges and knits can differ, we confirm the closest fabric, color, and fit match across the selected silhouettes before production.
How much do bulk custom performance shirts cost?
The delivered total depends on garment knit, quantity, color, print method, placements, and personalization. We quote the garment, decoration, duty-paid delivery, and applicable fees together so you can compare the real total rather than a blank-only price.
How far ahead should a performance-shirt order start?
Start about 5–6 weeks before the event or season. The normal planning range is 15–20 business days to your door after the mockup and deposit are approved; added time protects roster checks, approvals, and delivery.
